Change is in the air!

After about two months of debating on selling our place or not we eventually decided to "try and see what happens". So it took another two weeks of trying to "make it work " with some realtor friends of ours and some frustration, we opted to sell it on our own. So off I went in getting the condo painted and ready to show, then came getting pictures taken, about a weeks worth of threatening the kids if they made a mess, we finally got it put on KSL. Almost as soon as I posted it I had realtors calling me ( even when I asked them specifically not to call and solicit their services) I got about 20 calls, 0ver 300 views on our ad and NO one called about coming to look:( On day six of being out there on the web, I was outside with the boys as they were riding bikes when a car drove by. They pulled into a parking spot and stayed there for a minute then backed out. They then pulled up next to me and asked me about the area and then said we are "looking to buy", so I then tried to remain calm and tell them how we have loved it here and that we are "looking to sell if they want to come up and look".They were in the area to look at the other condos for sell...they didn't go look at them afterward. So they then come up and just start telling me how much they loved it. The next day she called me with an offer...we close at the end of the month! I could not believe it! It is crazy though, just two nights before I was way stressed about the whole process and having a minor (major if you ask Derek) breakdown. So I was praying like crazy to try to not feel that way and told the Lord that it was up to him and that I needed him to take it from me so I could chill. Even now looking at how everything has SO smoothly I can not feel anymore blessed! I know this is something that we are suppose to do, even when all the odds are against us...the time of year to sell, the economy, we are expecting a baby, etc. The Lord is definitely aware of me and my family and the things we need. I am so grateful to be in his watchful care! So we will be moving soon, that means you need to look for a new email address and new temporary address from us! :)
