Making Cookies!

What a little helper I have! He loves to "see what doin" when I am in the kitchen making something. Plus he is really good at cleaning up.... the untensils...afterwards! Thanks for your help little buddy!

Weekend in Midway!

This past weekend started off as a sister-in-law/mother-in-law weekend getaway to Midway. My sister-in-law (Trina) has a time share condo that she rented out for the weekend and since my sister-in-law (Mindy) was here from California we made it a little getaway! It is always nice to get away for even a day without the kids! So we went to eat Friday night at the Brick Oven, always yummy! Then we headed up to Midway and just chilled out watching some t.v.. The next day we made breakfast and then started in on some of our little projects we've been working on. My brother-in-law (Spencer) had been watching his four kids plus Mindy's two, so he brought then all up to midway later in the afternoon. So Amber and I decided to see if our kids and hubbys wanted to come up too and go for a swim. So they all came up and we ended up having a really good time with everyone up there!

Thanks Trina and Spencer for letting us girls stay the night and for letting us all come and take a dip in the pool! We had so much fun!
After we got all dressed and packed, we all headed to Heber to eat at the Dairy Keen (Train dinner as the kids call it) They love this place because it has all kinds of fun train things to look at and play with. So good times this weekend, lots of fun memories!

Reading Time!

Reading Time...I love it when these guys pull out some books and are just so intriqued but what they are seeing in the books. Todays books of choice are about, yep... you guessed it ...about SPACE! Yes, Burke is insistent that he is going to be an astronaut...I say you go for it! I just hope the enthusiasm continues...so for now i'll just keep buying the books and reading to them as often as I can:)
