Headstands!

Kasen started doing headstands out of the blue a few weeks back and is working on perfecting them! ( I had nothing to do with this it is all him,I swear!) This kid has the most muscular little body that I have ever seen a little two year old have! To watch him do these handstands is pretty amazing (even to me)! He will kick his feet up into the air and then slowly raise then to horizontal then up to vertical and hold, back to horizontal and down with the greatest of control!! He startedin on the handstands just the other day and part of one handstand looked like a plange!! (horizontal handstand). So watch out everyone, he's tough! Dawn, here we come!

Let's play in the snow!

Our fist trip out in the snow was FREEZING! We went to a park out in American Fork that has a fun hill, the only problem was the wind was blowing like crazy! This made it extremely hard to want to stay out and play! The boys were loving it though! They could be outside all day if I'd let them ( I just might when we have a house!) Kasen kept saying right when he got to the bottom of the hill, "pull up again " demanding that we pull him back up and go again! We had a good time though, that's all that matters!

Gingerbread house time!!

What a bunch of goof balls! Burke and Derek had fun creating this gingerbread house, well, Burke had fun eating all the candy! Kasen wasn't that into it this year, until it came time for the picture taking, then he was all for it! He was also all for the candy eating part as well, but that is a given!
We were just so happy that we didn't have any foundation issues this year! Way to go Derek, youve redeemed yourself!

Run down

I'm so far just giving you a run down of the past few months worth of what we have been up to. Then starting in January i'll do the more current things on a consistant basis! So I hope you are enjoying this blog site, and any feed back on how I can make it better and cuter (thats the scrapbooker in me coming out)like some of the cute ones all of you have, that would be awesome! Thanks for everyones inspiration to get me motivated to finally start doing this!

Burke Turns FIVE!

I cannot believe that Burke is five! Time sure does fly by, I keep telling him that he needs to stop growing ( for several reasons... I can't afford to buy him two sets of new pants for fall and winter EVERY year! and because I don't want him to grow up to fast!) his reply to me telling him this is " But I want to so I can be big and strong like dad! He wants to be just like his dad!
He has informed us that he wants to be a police man, a fire man, an astronaut, a volcano worker, a scientist and a DAD! What an ambicious child I have! And he's got the smarts to match that! He must have gotten that from his dad! Happy birthday Noodle!

Bye Bye Summer Days!

This is the way we spent most of our summer! We absolutely LOVE the pool! Kasen started out the summer terrified and literately clinging to our necks. It only took him half the month and he figured out that he liked to be on his own! He wanted to be so on his own that he didn't want floaties or anything.

Burke however is a born pro at swimming!
It took him a minute to remember from last summer but the kid is fearless in the water!
He loves it and is a total fish! Mom loves to spend her days with the boys at the pool just as much as the boys do!
We shall all miss the pool for the LONG winter and can't wait to visit the Lehi "dump" pool ( as burke calls it) several times this winter!
So ta ta for now!

Corn Belly's Corn Maze

Isn't that the cutest goat, horse and cow that you have ever seen?! Okay well, I think that they are! I guess I have some kind of bias or something? The boys really love going here this year! I didn't however love the "creature" as both of them got pretty scared. I am really grateful for activities like these that attempt to wear out my kids ( yea right, not much wears them out!).
Kasen is always wanting to be just like his big bro...so he needed a spider as well!
Burke loved watching this being done on another little boy so he had to have a spider like that boy... besides the fact that he is really in to Spiderman right now!

The newest member of the family!

September proved to be a good month for Derek, he finally got the long awaited big buck this year! Good thing his amazingly loving wife got him a new muzzle loader last Christmas so he could use his own gun for the hunt! He is a five by six,but unfortunately didn't score as well as he would have liked it to. But it is still really nice, way to go Derek! Now we have the fun task of deciding where he is going to go in our little house, luckily we have a good nine months to decide. He won't be done being mounted until approximately June or so.
The boys helping their dad show off his BIG buck! Way to go Dad!

Here goes nothin'!

So, I decided that I'dbetter join in all the craze of blogging! I'm pretty computer illiterate besides the basics so we shall see how this goes!
