Strawberry Days Rodeo & Parade...

This is a tradition in our family....going to the Strawberry Days festivities. We love going to the "Radio" as Kasen calls it and also going to the Parade. This year we went with our buddies Eric and Megan Taylor (no relation) And who did we find on our way in....Ann and Brad. It was fun to see them and sit by them. Thanks for saving a row Brad...good seats! This is what the boys were waiting for....the motorcycles! They are amazing to watch! The boys loved it! I spent the whole time trying to get a better picture of them in action... No luck. Some day I'll figure out how to take a good picture with my camera! Waiting for the parade to start...it was a bit wet this year and chilly but fun. Burke got a new camo hat! He was way excited about that.Lots of candy and fun! This was their favorite float and guess what city it was for!....yep Lehi for the Dinosaur museum! They were amazing dinosaurs...looked too real!:)

Swimming!

So the rain finally turned it's self off! We are so grateful that the clouds aren't moving in " every five minutes" according to Burke. We'd brave the pool a couple of times just long enough to have some fun and then get kicked out by the ominous black clouds moving in on us really fast! augh....it's been so maddening!
So we've tried to be at the pool all this week....which is so much better than being all cooped up in the house all day! So here are my boys swimming laps at the pool Aren't they so cute!!!! Mr. Burkeus! my sweetheart!
Ethan, Trina & Miss Iz came to join the party. I have a cute picture of Iz and myself but it was turned the wrong way so I'm trying to spare your necks:)
What a little stud muffin....look at those little abs!
What can we say...we love our pool!

The End Of Kindergarten!

Kindergarten is over!
I can't believe how fast time is flying by!
Burke with his best buddy Zane...luckily he lives close so they can play all summer...
they are glued at the hip!
Burke with his teacher Mrs. Peck
She did such a good job...Burke really liked her. Dance Festival
How cute are they!
Burke was so cute trying to keep up with the dance and with his goggles on:) He is such a good boy and good student!

Camping

Our first camping trip of the year was over memorial day.
(yes, I'm that far behind!)
Let me just say that it was a wet one!
We got several glimpse of the sun but mostly good looks at the RAIN!
So when it wasn't raining we got some four wheeler rides in.
We lucked out two times with the ranger...they didn't bring helmets for the kids to ride four wheelers...that was the first rangers stop...so then Trina grabbed some bike helmets and one ATV helmet...enter second ranger...Bike helmets aren't allowed :) it was kind of funny...So I think my Brother in law (bil) is going to get some helmets LOL.
Kasen putting the helmet on wrong!
Hanging out at the fire....check out the cool stick mom!
The kids loved the Zip line Uncle Spencer made for them.
They didn't get to do it as much as they wanted...on account of the rain!
We also got to take a quick fishing trip on strawberry...no one caught any thing :(
Burke threw his fishing pole in the water though!
So it was still a fun trip despite the weather...the kids (that includes my big kid) had fun being up in the mountains.

it's official...

it's official...I hate my blog!!! I look at all of your blogs and go...cute! you have amazing pictures ( I love black and white pictures, but the ones that I post suck and are always blurry, which naturally makes me hate my camera, it's totally the operator! HELP trina:) ) You all have fun and witty things to say, the backgrounds are cute. I'm totally in a funk... it's time for a change...but I haven't made time for that....when....who knows? you just wait, it is going to be great....we hope!
