Spring where are you!?

I am ready for fresh, clean, warmer...SPRING! So the only thing that I have control over is the clean ( my house) and making my blog look fresh and new! It was fun to play around with things and make some changes here. so tell me what you think!

Move over Dad!

Kasen didn't have a nap today so he fell alseep while lying by Dad on the couch. Derek was slowly getting pushed off the couch so that Kasen could get more comfortable! What a silly little boy!

Happy Valentines Day!

Derek surprised me with these beautiful flowers for Valentine's day! Aren't they gorgeous! I haven't had flowers in a while so it was really fun to get these! Thanks Derek, I love you!

Crazy Kido!

We have this big blue bucket and both boys have always love to play in it! So here is what Kasen is doing right now! What a cutey pie!

Looking up!

We are emerging from an awful week! The week satrted a bit stressful financially, which got me feeling like we needed to attend the temple. Those feelings were confirmed that we needed to go when Tuesday night I got a call from the counselor in the bishopric asking us to speak in sacrement on Sunday... needless to say that the topic for us to speak on was temples! Yea, so we had better go now! So all day Wedensday I worked on my talk and most of Thursday as well. Friday came and I got to have a break to go with Angie to the Gym meet (BYU & UTAH). It was really fun to just go and enjoy myself. Although I have to say it isn't the funnest thing for the people who sit in front of two x-gymnasts who notice everything! It was fun and good to see old teammates, coaches & trainers. Saturday morning came and it was time to go to the temple, what an always amazing experience, I love to feel the spirit there, this time was even more spiritual for me. After the temple we attended the worldwide training meeting for the church. Again, I was in tears the meeting was so good! The topic for discussion, strengthening the family is something close to my heart, so I again felt the spirit so strong there. Saturday night came and we all headed to bed early... but then a knock came to the door shortly after 9:30, I think?! but I couldn't tell if I was just imagining it or not so I just laid there. A few minutes later, the doorbell rang...so I got up and lookedout the peep hole and didn't see anyone. So I went back to my room and was going to go back to sleep but decided to get some clothes on and went back to the door. As I opened the door an envelope fell out of the door. To my surprise it was a generous, anonomous gift. Wow! could I be anymore blessed! So all I can humbly say is Thank you to whom ever you are, I hope you are blessed for helping us out! Thank you a million times! Sunday came and we all did well ( that's right even Burke spoke, and did awesome!) considering Derek and I got emotional! But we had many people tell us what a good job we did, I have to say I can't take the credit... the spirit was definitley there...all I did was pray my guts out that it would be and that I could say something that the Lord might have me say. We had a wonderful (that word doesn't even do it justice) musical medley inbetween Derek and I... the pianist told us he had to change his medley because Burke reading the words to "I love to see the Temple " moved him to make a change. It was a really good day...although I am glad that it is over! My mom and dad and Derek's mom came to support us giving our talks... Thank you for coming we love you all! I had to then go right to class and teach my CTR 8 class. Derek's mom came back to out house with my embarassed (because he got emotional)husband. She ended up eating with us and spending the evening with our family. Thanks for everything pam! So today I'm so tired! Things are feeling better and not quite so overwhelming, so I am really thankful for that and I am really blessed with so much.
